THE BAFFLING PANDEMONIUM OF LIFE

Sometimes nothing goes right

But that doesn’t mean we give up and leave the fight.

We must strive hard and even harder

Till things take a better turn

We must not let our efforts die away

And must wait till night passes and comes the day.

 

The darkness that pervades might not leave us soon

Sorrows and anguish might sound like a harsh tune

Our soul might not even find a moment of solace

We might be feeling torn in this crazy race

But deserting your efforts and mooning about

Might not be the best idea to resort to.

 

Just have faith in yourself

And put in the best endeavours you can.

Things might not change spontaneously

Situation may stay stagnant for months

But things are bound to change someday or the other

Things will change for the better.

 

When the sun sets

It sets with a promise to rise again

If the sun of your life has set,

It will rise and the rays of hope will emanate again.

Don’t live under the thatches of angst

Rise up and make your life bright again!

EVENING SPLENDOUR

The warmth of the sun Fills my heart with pleasure. The beautiful orangish tint of the sky Gives me a moment of awe and wonder. The returning path of the sparrows, Forms a wonderful sight for my leisure. Wind that blows past my heart, Renders it a lot more-fresher. The soothing beckon of the birds, Gives my ears the comfort of splendour. The trees that line the meanders, Makes them look much greener. The sun’s light is not yet weak And the moon is yet to appear. The loveliness of this eve Rejuvenates me and renders me much stronger And feels as if life’s too big While my problems are much smaller! ~Swosti Prakash Sarangi (SPS)
