Deception is present in every corner

Evil is served with a sweet flavour

In this age of internet.

 

We have the ever-virtuous men and women

Who never make a mistake now and then

In this age of internet.

 

People object you if you aspire to make a difference

And will diatribe you till you lose your vigour and confidence

In this age of internet.

 

People don’t have time to spend with you

Because they have to update their stories too

In this age of internet.

 

People don’t bother to help you when you’re in danger

Rather they ignore you when you ask for a favour

In this age of internet.

 

It’s just lies all around

In this world they thrive and abound

In this age of internet.
